Gear Picture

I wanted to post an image of my electric gear because I'm so fond of it so here it goes. I work on an Apple Powerbook G4 and I've found the Pixelmator software for image editing a satisfactory replacement for Gimp which I used to use a lot under Linux. 

I took a color image, made a sepia copy as a second layer and then used a layer mask to blend the two together. The image that I started with was pretty poor but the result is still neat so I'm posting it until I get something that looks better. I'm experimenting because I want to create a good image to put on the title of the blog. 

I can't help myself trying to play with stuff like this even if it is a time consuming affair. Unfortunately I've used up most of my practice time for the evening so I'll add that to the list of life's regrets.
